About Me

When I first met computers, all they meant to me were games built with stunning designs and brilliant programming. That is how computers hooked me. Later I moved on to design, which started as a hobby, and then, step by step and on solid foundations, I found my way into the world of programming. I wanted to start a blog to share and help knowledge grow. (One day everyone will have a blog :)) I consider it a duty to keep researching and improving myself.

It was 2005 when I built my first website on sitemynet.com. I can’t say I don’t miss those days. I would cram as much HTML and JS into a page as I possibly could 🙂 Then began my lifelong friendship with Photoshop. For some reason, making GIF animations was so much fun. Next I learned what this thing called hosting was. After HTML, CSS and JS, server-side languages came along. PHP was the first one I met and got along with. Once I understood what it was and what it wasn’t, I installed the Apache, MySQL, PHP trio on my own computer and started experimenting. Back then everyone was launching a forum site, so I installed the phpBB forum system on my machine and started working on themes and icons. Later I built “helper” applications for games, which had always been my passion. That is where I met Visual Basic. After that I started developing Windows applications with C# and .NET. Throughout my career, the .NET platform got most of my attention. For the last 2–3 years I have been building JavaScript-focused applications.

Learning has no age and no end. I learned this by living it. We can never say we know something completely; the years keep showing us that. I believe everyone should learn programming, so they can better understand how to shape their own life.
